As a member of the LLO you have the following options of counselling

Here you have the possibility of a brief counselling and information of ongoing cases.
Please note that our telephone is not a switchboard. You instantly get in contact with a member counsellor with thorough knowledge of the Rent Act.
Personal inquiry: Monday – Wednesday 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. and Thursday 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Here you can receive a more thorough counselling. We examine your papers. Please bring along your rental contract and other relevant papers.

You can get counselling via email.
We strive to answer as quickly as possible, but in more complicated cases we create a case which means a longer processing time. We will inform you by email.
By letter
If you prefer to write, feel free to do so. However, we ask you not to include original documents as we work electronically. The papers are scanned and subsequently destroyed. The processing time will be approximately 2 weeks.
By all inquiries we need your membership number or the file number. If you have moved, we need to know your new address immediately.
Our employees switch taking care of the various contact areas. Therefore, you might not always get the counsellor that you want. In most cases, however, the counselling can be handled by the counsellor in charge.
We offer legal counsel to you or to your tenants’ council concerning filing a case before the rent control board, the tenants’ complaints board or municipal authorities (actual case management) and correspondance with the landlord. We cooperate with and refer to skilled lawyers if necessary.

Please note that the LLO are on the tenants’ side. This also applies when we seek to change existing laws.
The LLO is an entirely non-political organization. We cooperate with those who support the tenants.
